As an Economic Development Associate with Delta Development Group, Inc. (Delta) of Mechanicsburg, PA, I have obtained a wide-range of skills in the domains of planning, public funding, and economic development. In May 2018, I earned a B.S. in Regional Planning/Land Use Planning and GIS Concentration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania's Department of Geography and Regional Planning. For years, I have been a keen student of geography, history, and land use. There is vast potential in each and every community, and as a planner, I feel an obligation to bring that potential to the forefront of every plan and project. Along with my skills, I aspire to use my talents, knowledge, and judgement to make communities more economically prosperous, healthier, and safer places to live. In my professional career, I have worked to take projects from the initial conceptual/analysis stage through the implementation/funding/drawdown stage. The ability to take a project from beginning to end has enabled me to deliver tangible results. As an Economic Development Associate, I undertake the following range of tasks on a frequent basis:- Development of implementable, actionable, and innovation revitalization plans, comprehensive plans, market analyses, and economic development strategies-Development of public funding strategies- In-depth analysis and interpretation of demographic, socioeconomic, and industry data- Community development/redevelopment visioning- IMPLAN economic impact analysis- Grant writing and legislative/stakeholder outreach- Public funding compliance and drawdown - Review of land use, planning, and environmental regulations- Development of briefing materials and public presentations- GIS mapping- Coordination with colleagues in multi-disciplinary teams
