I have recently returned to this company for my 2nd lot of employment. I have been working on mainly commercial sites such as Gleadell at the outer harbour and Tyco. I have recently undertaken regular fire alarm testing for a local client along with emergency lighting tests.

I am skilled at all aspects of electrical work including the ability to read detailed drawings, testing and fault finding, tray and metal work(mainly stainless steel), cable pulling, glanding and terminating. I was trained in stainless TIG welding but only in house, this was usefull in welding cuts and bends in the cable tray. I was sent up to work for the company in Aberdeen working on a LER project destined for Brazil. I was working on MCS panels which incorperated EPU's, EWS's, UPS's, change over switches, riello boxes, EDAC leads and also fitting PLC's.

This work was on behalf of a client called Nexen, i was on the project called the Golden Eagle which was a accommodation module. The work involved was heavy industrial using ladder rack up to 900mm, basket and cable tray, uni-strut. I used pvc/swa, pvc/swb, cat 5, optic, co-axial and butyl cable. I had to conform to a strict health and safety regime which included a daily toolbox talk.

This work was on a commercal basis with repairs, breakdowns, maintenance, and additions/alterations on shops, bars, arcades, resturants, swimming pool inc. plant room and caravans. Bigger projects undertaken in winter months with large groundwork operations.

This work included domestic, house additions and alterations including testing for private and council properties for GYBC/NCC & NPS. Commercial breakdowns, installatons, modernizing, P.A.T, emergency lighting and fire alarm testing. Industrial works on sites with machinery, groundworks, cables tray, ladder rack, metal conduit and trunking.
