I am a values-driven leader, policymaker and strategist with a strong track record in social impact across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.I’m currently Head of Strategic Relations at Settlement Services International, where I lead advocacy and stakeholder strategy for Australia’s largest and fastest-growing service provider for refugees and new migrants. In this role, I initiated and lead the Billion Dollar Benefit coalition (www.billiondollarbenefit.org.au) and Activate Australia’s Skills campaign (www.activateaustralia.org.au). These are growing cross-sector collaborations to reduce employment barriers so more overseas-trained workers can work in their fields of expertise and, in doing so, add $9 billion to Australia’s economy each year.Prior to joining SSI, I headed public policy for Australia’s largest development NGO, World Vision, and worked at the heart of government in the Prime Minister’s Department and BCG’s public sector strategy practice. In these roles I influenced landmark policy reforms in foreign aid, humanitarian assistance, immigration, climate change, women’s safety, cyber security and First Nations policy.I am a former Rotary World Peace Fellow, Global Shaper with the World Economic Forum, and Chant Legacy Scholar with the Governance Institute of Australia. I am currently studying my MBA as the inaugural Community Leader Scholar at AGSM, UNSW. I’m passionate about creating system-level change through partnerships and original, savvy thinking.
