Retire while you can enjoy it, if you can swing it financially. Be sure to include lots of exercise in your retirement plans. Not only will you no longer have the excuse that there is no time, but, you will have more energy to do the things you want.My work in the past:I spent most of my career working in Finance, and retired as CFO from Western Federal (now Unify Financial) Credit union in 2016. The thing I take the most pride in about from work is that two of my direct reports went on to be CFOs themselves! They are talented people, but I hope that I helped them along.

  Brief update: I feel for the people hit by the pandemic but, so far, my family and I have been spared. We are trying to keep it that way by staying largely isolated. Plus side is that I get to spend even more time with my kids, even if we have to stick around the house.Stay safe.Every day is Saturday! In the past two years, in addition to spending more time with my family, I've caught up on long put-off home improvement projects, taught three classes at Cal State Long Beach, lost 30 pounds, and am in better shape than I was 20 years ago. Most recently, I started playing around with programming in C# and am really enjoying that. Additionally, I've noticed that I don't hate driving as much as I did when I was commuting every day, so long car trips are now almost enjoyable.
