Entrepreneurship is defined as the creation or extraction of value. Dane Stevens represents three generations of business leadership skills based on these values. From the family origins of gemstone importing, he co-founded Vancouver’s Cavalier Jewellers in 2013 to redefine the public perception of jewellery stores in an otherwise traditional industry. More recently, Dane has focused significant effort into the burgeoning field of mushroom-based alternative health and wellness opportunities. Through his executive role at Optimi Health he is helping guide this Cultivation-to-Consumer business through development, product innovation and direct-to-consumer vertical markets. Optimi is building multiple revenue generating assets, setting the foundation to scale, diversify, and capitalize on the immense opportunity within the rapidly expanding business of fungi. To support the community, Dane has helped to support local organizations such as the ALS Society of BC, Canuck Place, Community First Foundation, imagine1day and Farmacie.
