I am an illustrator/designer born and raised in Calgary Alberta, and a recent graduate of the Alberta University of the Arts Visual Communications Design Program. I also have a degree in English from the University of Calgary, and have worked in a number of communications/design related positions for the University of Calgary, the Calgary Drop In Centre, and New University Television(NUTV). I have years of experience in social media marketing, advertising, and media communications, and I am always looking for a new challenge to apply my skills to. Whether I am needed in an artistic or communications capacity, I always bring my positive attitude and relentless work ethic to every task, and take pride in all of the work that I do. I am passionate about both graphic design and illustration, and have broad knowledge of areas ranging from logo and brand design to typography to motion graphics, character design, children's book illustration and beyond. I can also lend a hand to proof reading, copywriting and editing, all of which I have had much experience with during my years at the University of Calgary. My eventual goal is to become a post secondary level illustration/design teacher, as I am passionate about learning as a lifelong pursuit, and I would love to have the opportunity to share my experience with other aspiring artists and designers.
