Previously, representing over 8,000 builder and associate members before the Florida Legislature and Executive Branch, Dane was the Director of Government Affairs for the Florida Home Builders Association and the Florida Home Builders Political Action Committee. Dane began his career as a Legislative Aide to State Senator Lizbeth Benacquisto during her tenure as Senate Majority Leader, Banking and Insurance Chairman, and Senate Rules Chairman. He later joined a Fortune 500 managed care company based in Tampa, Florida where he covered state legislation for 13 market States. Dane has vast experience with state senate, congressional and statewide campaigns. He served as the Political Director for a statewide Agriculture Commissioner campaign before he was halted due to a unit deployment to the Indo-Pacific in support of the 4th Marine Regiment. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration from Florida State University. In addition, Dane served as a Captain, Amphibious Assault Vehicle Officer for Bravo Company, 4th Assault Amphibian Battalion, 4th Marine Division, United States Marine Corps Reserve.
