I’m a native of Big Branch, Louisiana. At the beginning of my career, I worked as a writer in Tokyo, and I still write about every kind of thing in a variety of genres in print and online. In 2000, I moved from Tokyo to London to attend the London Film School.At the LFS I studied the art and technique of filmmaking. After graduating with distinction in both writing and producing, I gigged as a producer, director and art director in London for eight years working on projects ranging from no budget to GBP250,000+. I also entered into a creative partnership with the Swedish filmmaker and fellow LFS cohort member Patrick Jackson. We continued to produce work together under the name of The Elektrik Zoo while gigging for others. In 2008, Patrick and I moved our partnership to New Orleans.In New Orleans, we've worked with brands we like and who do the work. We like a good collaboration. In 2020 I started Planet Daneeta as an outlet for my creative endeavors. The Plastic Playhouse Project is was workshopped through LaunchU, a summer entrepreneurship bootcamp at Loyola University New Orleans' College of Business. The aim to to figure out artful ways to reduce, reuse and recycle plastics.Over the last 3 decades I've worked as a creative consultant for a number of clients. I plug into their team to provide practical and out-of-the box creative concepts for their media campaigns. I help clients without their own creative teams to produce as well. Since 2022, I've been consulting clients on the use and misuse of A.I. in business.I have written, produced and directed 70+ short-form narrative, documentary and experimental films, three long-form films, and a variety of commercials, PSAs, branded videos, social media spots and web videos and series as well as photo-essays & words for the targeted audiences of a number of local, national and international clients and for myself.
