An important aspect of my role included training of more than 40 field staff in safety, drilling and sampling practices and training a team of 4 geologists in mineral, alteration and rock identification, logging, data entry and report writing. I co-ordinated long-chain supplies, ship and helicopter movements to and from site for camp and drilling provisions and sample dispatch.
