I am a touring multi-instrumentalist, programmer, tech, and band leader/musical director in the live music entertainment industry. For the past few years I have traveled nationally and internationally, generally playing between 100-200 live shows per year. I've had multiple national TV appearances, several overseas tours, and recorded a live record in Glasgow, Scotland in 2018.

I booked a roster of 20+ performing artists at schools and universities across the nation. I was the primary liaison between school representatives and the artists themselves. I handled marketing, scheduling, fee negotiation, contracting, and client followup. A large portion of our bookings came from our affiliations with NACA (National Association for Campus Activities) and APCA (Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities), so I helped plan our conference showcasing as well.

Assignment: Take a very, very small budget and provide some sort of awesome programming for college students who pretty much expect anything that the college does to suck.Battle plan: Assemble a team of diverse, somewhat odd, and servant-minded individuals and convince them that they're capable of doing great things. Utilize personal connections, negotiation skills, and just plain good looks to wrangle support and cheap prices from local and regional merchants and performers. Pull off big shows and productions with shoestring resources and grassroots-style marketing.Results: We do as many quality activities in a year as several nearby colleges with the amount of money they spend in their first month. We have cooler t-shirts, too.

Helped start three satellite campuses before returning to the mothership, where I was put in charge of all onstage delay pedal usage.

Safeworld.org is a Tennessee-based NGO that operates primarily in Uganda and Haiti, providing support for clean water and health education initiatives in various communities.

Having never taught a day in my life, I was dropped into a classroom of 30+ students a month into the school year and charged with teaching them the magical art of Algebra. Hilarity ensued.
