CurrentMaintain knowledge of USPTO and PCT Rules and Procedures.Coordinate with foreign patent agents and their International Patent Offices regarding foreign filings procedures.Maintain a daily review of the docket with attorney and constant follow up of all applications in our care.Work in CPI docketing system with experience in FoundationIP.Prepare provisional, utility (including National Stage and direct), and design, applications for filing, including preparing formal documents such as: Drawings, Information Disclosure Statements; Assignments and Declarations; Specification; Claims; Abstracts, and fee calculations. Review Office Actions and other communications from the USPTO and prepare preliminary drafts of responses as appropriate for attorneys' signature(s).File documents with the USPTO by mail or by Electronic Filing System (EFS).Prepare and file documents with the International Bureau using ePCT. Update prosecution and correspondence files following filings and/or receipt of correspondence from the USPTO, clients or other agencies.Prepare and track client status reports and correspond with clients and/or their agents regarding the status of applications.Manage time entry for work completed by attorney. Assist in developing and integrating new inter-office procedures.Maintain inter-office and USPTO forms.Assist in social media marketing.Lead trainer and mentor to new staff on inter-office and USPTO procedures.
