I am passionate about teaching and continue to educate myself on how to teach better. I have worked in Early Childhood Education for over 26 years! I have been a Preschool Teacher, a Preschool Director, an Instructional Assistant in Special Education, an Infant Teacher for a military base for five years, and currently, I am a Health and Safety Director for Bright Horizons in LaJolla, Ca. I am in my third year to obtain my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education in Administration. Through the years in my teaching career, I have gained the knowledge to provide an inclusive learning environment and create an anti-bias learning environment for students.My experiences with children have given me the passion for continuing to help families and teachers. My favorite thing about working in early childhood education is when children have that "ah-ha" moment, which has influenced me to teach other educators to teach a high-quality program. The same concept that fueled my passion for watching children gain knowledge and understanding has transitioned into teaching others how to teach. I have been pursuing growth my whole career and love how much I have learned.My passion for teaching and helping others over the last few decades, allows me to reflect on my accomplishments. I was awarded Recognition for professionalism and dedication to students of Morongo Unified School District In 2009. In July of 2013, I received a certification for positive attitude with children and co-workers from Twenty-Nine Palms Marine Corps Ca. April 1, 2020, duly elected and inducted to membership in Alpha Lamda Chapter at Ashford University. I have achieved academic recognition from Ashford University and Arizona Global as a member of the Dean’s list starting 2018 to the present.
