Ensuring category merchandising is reflective of the site merchandising strategy for assigned areas of business. Accountable for ensuring timely and accurate setup and production of all products and assortments in PIM system. Responsible for achieving topside sales plans, conversion goals, usability performance targets and corporate objectives. Responsible for Item setup, categorization and brand merchandising for multiple areas of business. Properly set up all new items and define where items should be assorted in appropriate web folders for optimal exposure and ensure timely live date. Responsible for delaying items that are not validated. Responsible for the resolution process for quality center defects as well as items not on site in the Warehouse. Identify process and/or system inefficiencies on a regular basis. Send items for select vendor approval. Thorough quality assurance of designated categories of responsibility. Oversee the testing of all site content in coordination with weekly site refreshes, and functionality. Thoroughly understand competitive landscape primarily focused on navigation and customer experience and make recommendations to incorporate into business. • Works with multiple vendors through the V2C onboarding process ensuring adherence to timelines and program requirements., ensuring vendors remain compliant to all Sears Canada EDI testing requirements.• Escalates issues to appropriate internal and external stakeholders as needed to ensure execution.• Deals with issues that arise in the V2C operational process to ensure customer excellence in the supply chain, including EDI testing for inventory advice, purchase orders, advance ship notices, purchase order change requests, functional acknowledgments, and test scanning/approving shipping labels.• Provides daily monitoring of vendor compliance as well as overall system health, driving action when required to ensure program goals are met.• Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with vendors to ensure vendor understands the changing needs from Sears (eg. processes, facility requirements) as well as responsible for working with the vendor to resolve issues in a timely manner.• Acts as a subject matter expert in V2C and the Commerce Hub platform and DI Central within the organization. Responsible for educating and training new vendors on the Commerce Hub platform to ensure vendors understand Sears system requirements.• Responsible for negotiating with vendors to identify how to service the Sears customer (eg. time-lines, damaged product, non-compliant packaging). Responsible for deciding when a vendor is charged for noncompliance to ensure vendor understands the implication of their errors.
