I supported young people with intellectual, developmental, and emotional disabilities to access resources, participate in activities, and achieve their goals. I worked with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, volunteers, and families to provide individualized and holistic services that enhanced the well-being and empowerment of our clients. I also contributed to the development and implementation of programs, policies, and partnerships that aligned with the organization's mission and values. I left this role in August 2023 to focus on finding a full time position after graduating in psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where I am studied the theories and practices of psychological assessment, intervention, and research. I am passionate about applying my knowledge and skills to help people overcome challenges, improve their mental health, and reach their full potential. I have a strong interest in the field of disability psychology, and I aspire to make a difference in people's lives especially in helping them improve their mental health.
