I am currently working at Shriners Hospital for Children in Cincinnati. Shriners is a specialy hospital for children, where they treat children who have been burned, have cleft lip and palate, need reconstruction for deformities, dog bites, or gynocamastia. My experience for the last 4 years has been working in hospitals where children are the primary patients, I have experience in scheduling, patient access, insurance authorization and certification, referrals and documentation. I am proficient in working with Epic Cadence and Cerna Millenium. I have excellent communication skills and I enjoy working in the medical field. Fortunately, I do have other skills also, which include 25 years of working as a licensed cosmetologist and I am currently training to be a welder. I will be getting my certification in welding soon. My diverse background in multiple skill areas had allowed me the opportunity to expand my knowledge and expertise in several fields. I will continue to be open about learning new and interesting things without spreading myself too thin.
