Until a few years ago, I was a Correction Officer E-9 in an all male prison. Before that I was a certified medical assistant, certified phlebotomist, and (my favorite) a cake decorator. I have since transitioned into Cyber Security, specifically AWS cloud. I participated in the RapidAscent cyber program and have since jumped into the cyber world! From there I work as a Sales Development Rep selling cyber ranges and I loved it! Currently I am in between jobs which is giving me the time to learn as much as I can to advance my career. As I mentioned, AWS cloud is my start and AI/Machine Learning in the cloud is my goal. Starting here, the sky is the limit! My love of learning, great communication skills, and all-or-nothing attitude, along with gained experience will have me on a worthwhile journey. Just as important, the things I do not yet fully understand, will be learned quickly and with enthusiasm. I may not have much experience yet, but I can say with irrefutable confidence that I will prove to be a valuable asset to my future company, coworkers, and clientele henceforth....and I am excited to do just that!
