Very fun summer job with Audubon Membership!

Ninth grade Social Studies teacher. I teach on average about 115 students per year and my goal for all of my students once they leave my class is that each of them become global thinkers and have a greater appreciation for not only themselves and their history, but a better appreciation for the world and its cultures.In addition to being a teacher at the school, I am the sponsor of the Warren Easton Charter High School's Fantastic Flag Twirlers. I am very proud of this group of young ladies and look forward to walking in parades with them every year. I also am the faculty coordinator for the school's DEFY Team. This school year, I oversaw a group of seven students as they conducted surveys at local grocery stores, gas stations, and convenience stores to log the amount of tobacco advertising targeted at youth.
