My agency journey has been unconventional (much like the rest of my life). It’s not every day you’ll find an account services person turned copywriter. But here we are. That’s the thing I love about small agencies—I get to wear a lot of hats. And I’ve been lucky enough to be surrounded by people that encourage and support my curiosity and growth. Over the years, I’ve honed lots of useful skills, done tons of great work, and helped dozens of clients reach their branding and marketing goals. These days I spend most of my time writing copy for client projects, creating content for my agency, talking strategy with my team, managing internal projects, and improving agency processes. After working hours, I bring my writing and editing skills to nonprofit organizations that work to combat climate change through policy change.Before discovering agency life, I worked in Corporate America with a dream of climbing the proverbial ladder. On my way up I realized it wasn’t where I belonged. After landing at my first agency job just before Y2K, I never looked back. As a curious-minded, empathy-driven, independent thinker, I work best with teams made up of smart, creative, hard-working, people on a mission to do things differently.
