My name is Danielle Hensley, and I am in my second year at IU Bloomington. I am in the Kelley School, currently pursuing a major in Economic Consulting along with co majors in Business Analytics and Digital Technology Management, while also pursuing a minor in Spanish. I am very interested in living and working abroad, as I spent much of my childhood moving around the world, from military base to military base. These formative years taught me invaluable life lessons – how to be the new kid in town, how to maintain unwavering focus despite inconsistent academic environments, and, most crucially, the art of forging connections and thriving in diverse social settings. As I've matured, these lessons have not only endured but blossomed into integral components of my character.In a previous role, I had the privilege of working in a position where I ascended to a management level. This ascent was not solely propelled by my qualifications but by the impactful connections I cultivated with my colleagues, my ability to de-escalate tense situations, and an unwavering dedication to my work. This professional transformation illuminated my path towards a passion for consulting. The thrill of working with a team, problem solving, and leading others toward collective success became a driving force in my journey. I hope myself and my skills can be a powerful asset to a company in the future, and I am looking forward to the career opportunities that my skills may bring.
