My passion has been to gather smart and diverse people into the same room to create paradigm-changing ideas. To conceive, make, test, iterate, and retest until real value and impactful prototypes are developed. With time, a passionate and experienced team mixes with financial backing and/or incubator resources to accelerate and guide implementation and maximize adoption and strategic growth. Instinctually I go for mixing technology (i.e. large medical databases, AI, and EHRs) with evidence-based medicine, incentive realignment, and individuals taking ownership of their mental and physical health.I'm interested in large-scale, non-obvious, and entrenched problems of the type you see when inside the healthcare system. I also like user friendly product ideas that can grow organically via grass roots engagement.As an example, my work developing CareAffinity involved melding technology with the Triple Aim of improving health, improving care experiences, and especially reducing costs for elders hoping to 'age in place'. I felt an outstanding user experience with verifiable outcomes and cost reduction could meet success with the thousands of baby-boomers retiring daily. CareAffinity tried to use a sharing economy model to enhance later-in-life quality and elder independence.
