Directed the activities of the dimensional inspection department in inspecting a wide variety of machined, welded, and cast parts utilizing inspection tools such as the FARO tracking arm, FARO tracking laser, gages, calipers, micrometers and other measuring equipment. PropulsionCritical team member of the Army Aviation Blue Team investigating and determining the root cause of engine gear vibration and failures. This involved extensive engine testing and vibration testing and lead to a major material and processing change in the manufacture of gears.Utilizing six-sigma methodologies, performed probabilistic risk assessments and reliability studies on turbine engine components.Used failure data, removal data, and warranty data from a variety of databases in statistical distributions to determine safe lives for rotating turbine components.
