    A member of the Senior Leadership Team reporting to the Chief Executive Officer with overall strategic, operational, and financial responsibility for the Students’ Union in London.Achievements since I have been in post:- Led a period of significant renewal, growth and transformation for the Students' Union in London with a growing staff team covering all areas of Membership Services empowering the team to create bespoke methods of engagement for our students in co and extra curricular activity- Achieved record breaking election turnout in the Sabbatical Officer elections in London - Led Sunderland SUs first ever NUS Quality Students' Unions submission across both the Sunderland and London campuses - Led the student submission for the 24/25-27/28 Access and Participation Plan for the first time ever segregating the plan down by campus - Built and maintained excellent working relationships with senior stakeholders within the institution including the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Learning and Teaching), Director of the University of Sunderland in London and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Commercial)- Achieved an 82% average across all programmes for Question 25 of the 2023 National Student Survey for the Students' Union in London- Alongside the Chief Executive, have led on the design and development of the new Students' Union space as part of the wider London campus move and redevelopment due to open in 2025 ensuring it is on brand and fit for purpose for our students I am also the lead mentor for the President: London Sabbatical Officer and lead on a variety of cross organisational projects.

    Worked to develop the Extra Curricular program on the Cambridge Campus.I developed and the supported the creation of new and existing Clubs and Societies affiliated to ARU Students' Union. Ensure that they are on track to development, as well as reaching their targets for the Bronze/Silver/Gold Reward Scheme.As well as this, I look after a number of recreational non competitive sports clubs, and ensure all provisions for them are in place including a venue and a coach as well as ensuring that their Health and Safety documentation has met the required standard.I looked after and ran the Give it a Go Scheme on the Cambridge Campus and have had a successful turnaround selling all trips out, boosting the current provision of our offering and looking into new markets and destinations within a budget as well as being able to make it affordable for students. I also work very closely with our International team to put events on such as Global Week, which are yearly ran events in which the University works in partnership with the Students Union to promote diversity and inclusion of a wide variety of cultures on campus. I line manage over 20 'Students' Union Heroes' who are members of Student Staff that we employ on a Part Time Basis, to complete various jobs for us across a variety of departments. I run the welcome program in Cambridge which involves but is not limited too the management of staff across four different halls of residence moving in just over 1000 students in over a week, coordinating International Arrivals and offering a drop off service at all their halls of residence. I worked closely with the ARU Students' Union Volunteering Service to ensure that all students that are volunteering for us, log their hours and skills so that they are eligible for awards, and a transcript that they can present along with a certificate of achievement to future employers.
