Member of the Senior Leadership Team responsible for the ongoing success and development of the Students’ Union in London and our Operations, HR and Advice Teams across both our Sunderland and London Campuses. Lead member of staff in the Students’ Union for matters covering EDI, People and Culture, Organisational Development and project based work across the organisation.From November 2024 I am also providing management and support to our Student Communities Team in Sunderland comprising of Student Activities, Student Voice and Representation and Volunteering Opportunities.

A member of the Senior Leadership Team reporting to the Chief Executive Officer with overall strategic, operational, and financial responsibility for the Students’ Union in London.Achievements since I have been in post:- Led a period of significant renewal, growth and transformation for the Students' Union in London with a growing staff team covering all areas of Membership Services empowering the team to create bespoke methods of engagement for our students in co and extra curricular activity- Achieved record breaking election turnout in the Sabbatical Officer elections in London - Led Sunderland SUs first ever NUS Quality Students' Unions submission across both the Sunderland and London campuses - Led the student submission for the 24/25-27/28 Access and Participation Plan for the first time ever segregating the plan down by campus - Built and maintained excellent working relationships with senior stakeholders within the institution including the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Learning and Teaching), Director of the University of Sunderland in London and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Commercial)- Achieved an 82% average across all programmes for Question 25 of the 2023 National Student Survey for the Students' Union in London- Alongside the Chief Executive, have led on the design and development of the new Students' Union space as part of the wider London campus move and redevelopment due to open in 2025 ensuring it is on brand and fit for purpose for our students I am also the lead mentor for the President: London Sabbatical Officer and lead on a variety of cross organisational projects.

A member of the Union's management team with oversight of all day to day operations of the London Students' Union. My team cover all areas of Membership Services including: Advice and Advocacy, Voice and Representation, Student Opportunities and Events. Achievements since I have been in post: - Launched an in year Back to Basics operating model to reset the foundations of the organisation in London from the ground up across Membership Services to ensure effective delivery - Launched an independent Advice Service for students in London - Through effective KPI monitoring alongside the team, ensured that we have effective student representation across the University taking numbers up 225% since I joined the organisation - Oversaw and was the Deputy Returning Officer for the largest Sabbatical Officer election on the London campus to date - Implemented structures to effectively start Clubs and Societies on the London Campus with clear risk management processes ensuring events can be run successfully and safely - Worked with the university to ensure that the Students' Union can run proper induction events to support their multiple intakes across the year - Worked alongside the university to bring participation sporting activity to London - Implemented meeting structures with the University SMT to ensure there are clear reporting lines on tracked progress for the organisations development - Provided updates on the progress of the London Students' Union to the University Executive team, the Board of Trustees and various other relevant university committees - Alongside the President: London, got us our first presence at London graduations to be able to sell merchandise and seek income generation on campus

A voluntary role with shared responsibility for legal compliance, governance, strategy, Finance and HR for Aberystwyth Students' Union.

Oversaw the work of the Welfare, Advice and Support Service covering a period of maternity leave. Responsible for the departmental budget, line management of the staff within the team, developing working relationships with University of Northampton and leading on various elements of the welcome week activity taking place on campus.

Lead on the delivery and implementation of all services at the UONL Students' Union. This involved building all services from the ground upwards as part of a new Students' Union presence for UONL. I managed a range of services covering Student Representation, Advice and Student Experience.

Managed the delivery of the student led events programme for over 300 sector leading clubs and societies. I was responsible for risk management/general health and safety, coordination/liaison with the compliance team at UCL and external venues/suppliers. Also responsible for the delivery of key union events throughout the year such as Winter Arts Festival, International Festival/our annual awards programme and our Give it a Go scheme.Directly supported societies to enter the National Societies and Volunteering Awards and by introducing the program to our student groups, enabled our Women in Surgery Conference to be nominated and win the 'National' Event Award in 2020. This was the first time that a Students' Union UCL society had been entered and won an award at a national level.

Worked to develop the Extra Curricular program on the Cambridge Campus.I developed and the supported the creation of new and existing Clubs and Societies affiliated to ARU Students' Union. Ensure that they are on track to development, as well as reaching their targets for the Bronze/Silver/Gold Reward Scheme.As well as this, I look after a number of recreational non competitive sports clubs, and ensure all provisions for them are in place including a venue and a coach as well as ensuring that their Health and Safety documentation has met the required standard.I looked after and ran the Give it a Go Scheme on the Cambridge Campus and have had a successful turnaround selling all trips out, boosting the current provision of our offering and looking into new markets and destinations within a budget as well as being able to make it affordable for students. I also work very closely with our International team to put events on such as Global Week, which are yearly ran events in which the University works in partnership with the Students Union to promote diversity and inclusion of a wide variety of cultures on campus. I line manage over 20 'Students' Union Heroes' who are members of Student Staff that we employ on a Part Time Basis, to complete various jobs for us across a variety of departments. I run the welcome program in Cambridge which involves but is not limited too the management of staff across four different halls of residence moving in just over 1000 students in over a week, coordinating International Arrivals and offering a drop off service at all their halls of residence. I worked closely with the ARU Students' Union Volunteering Service to ensure that all students that are volunteering for us, log their hours and skills so that they are eligible for awards, and a transcript that they can present along with a certificate of achievement to future employers.

Undertook a secondment within ARU Students' Union looking after their Chelmsford campus as well as Cambridge implementing the design and delivery of the extra curricular activities programme on this campus. Temporary contract until the replacement for the Chelmsford campus has been recruited.

Worked to help under performing stores across the South of the country on a mileage radius from London, Greater London, all the way out to the South West. My role was to train management teams from Sales Executives all the way up to Branch Managers and help improve performance whilst minimising costs. I was also integral to the recruitment process, and monitoring of training to ensure that standards of service were met across the shops.

Worked as a Department Manager in one of the highest turnover Clarks stores in the UK (£2 million per year). I ran the department that took 70% of the stores overall income. Looked after a team of 7 sales team members setting targets and carried out monthly reviews.Left as I was headhunted to take on a bigger role elsewhere.

Worked in a small team for the checking of returned theatrical material whilst also building and compiling new parts. These included Librettos' and Scores. Was responsible for dealing with clients for the return of their materials and for answering any arisen issues.
