Design and develop custom web applications for small companies and individuals. Types of sites include e-commerce and transactional sites and professional branding, Working on incorporating Silverlight into current projects to enhance user experience. Other technologies utilized have been AJAX, jQuery, NopCommerce and AspDotNetStoreFront ecommerce engines. Several sites also incorporate various online payment and shipping gateways.

Architected and implemented an enterprise level work flow engine to execute thousands of events a year, which included components of content management resource planning and management, communication, and custom reporting using MS SQL Server 2005 and ASP.NET 3.0. Migrated ASP.NET 1.1 web application to ASP.NET 2.0 and 3.5. Architected, coded, and deployed, OLTP databases running thousands of transactions a day. Implemented third party components which utilize AJAX to provide a better user experience when entering and viewing information. Created customized reports utilizing SQL Reporting Services 2005. Updated and maintained data mart to speed up report run times. Setup and maintained web and database servers running IIS and MS SQL server.

Architected and coded a web application to enter, process, and report on customer claims using ASP and SQL Server. Designed an MS Access front end database to process and print over 500,000 checks a month. Processing included determining which rebate to pay, removing duplicates, determining the lowest postal rates using CASS software, and printing the checks in a USPS approved format. Designed and implemented a digital phone system to handle over 45 phone lines and routing thousands of calls a month to customized menus and customer service representatives. Call routing included the use of uniform call distribution (UCD) lists, direct dialing, and call detail reporting.
