Hello, I am Dang Luu. I am a pre-junior at the University of Cincinnati studying Computer Science. Last summer, I embarked on a deep dive into deep learning through a prestigious research program at the University of Cincinnati. I was one of only seven selected to participate in one of the research projects in Taiwan, where I processed data and developed several deep learning models to meet the specific needs of the lead professor. This experience not only honed my skills in building models but also expanded my understanding of how machine learning can be applied to solve diverse problems.In addition to my research, I gained valuable industry experience during a three-month stint with a start-up in Singapore. There, I worked extensively with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL to develop robust web solutions. My performance led to a promotion to project leader, where I was responsible for mentoring interns and leading the company’s projects—a role that sharpened both my leadership and collaborative skills.
