About An Tran
An Tran, a Vietnamese Physicist, received his PhD degree from Université Sorbonne Paris Nord, France (2019) under the supervision of Prof. Anne Amy-Klein and Dr. Benoit Darquié. His PhD research focused on high-precision molecular spectroscopy using mid-infrared quantum cascade lasers with SI-traceability. Since 2019, he has joined the research group of Prof. Grant Ritchie, Department of Chemistry, University of Oxford as a postdoctoral researcher. His research in Oxford focuses on the development of ultra-sensitive continuous-wave cavity-enhanced polarimeters for measuring optical rotation of chiral molecules in visible and near-infrared spectral region (European Commission Horizon 2020, ULTRACHIRAL Project)
