I am interested in how novel technology can generate positive economic and societal impact. Throughout my industrial and academic activity I have attempted to address real-world issues by combining expertise in fundamental science, sensor development and microfluidics, with extensive field deployment experience. My professional goal is to nourish this interest and achieve sensible, tangible results. And, of course, have as much fun as possible in the process ! I am also an active and committed entrepreneur, focusing on developing and bringing to market novel technologies with lasting impact. This has been a thrill for several years now, and there is more to come. And finally, in my earlier academic career position I taught advanced undergraduate and graduate-level courses in fundamental and applied physics, and in different areas of microfluidics and nano-technology.
