I provide data science, ML/AI and biological experimental design consulting services with an emphasis on multimodal omics.

Developed multimodal AI technologies for biological discovery. I developed algorithms for analysis of Perturb-seq data. Led mixed computational and wet lab research for translational projects related to partial reprogramming.

Rheos was unable to secure Series B funding in 2021 and closed doors in 2022.I developed network-based algorithms to predict responder/non-responder status in SLE and MS patient populations.I assisted the experimental design and optimization of screening pipelines to identify modulators of T-cell metabolism

One of two founding members of the computational biology unit.Introduced ATAC-seq, scRNA-seq and scATAC-seq to eGenesis.I collaborated on the development of kidney dissociation protocols and used these protocols to create an atlas of the pig kidney cortex using scRNA-seq.I used the above methods to generate a compendium of promoters that stably express genes ubiquitously or with high tissue-specificy at desired levels with low burstiness. Patent pending.

Postdoctoral fellow, lab of Eric Alm, studying computational methods in microbiomics. Resulted in 3 peer-reviewed publications.

I studied protein engineering in the David Baker lab. We computationally designed interfaces for a set of protein binders; I performed directed evolution using yeast cell surface display to optimize binding affinity to the desired targets; and I validated the binding mechanism through site mutagenesis of residues predicted to be important for binding.
