It Onsite Project Engineer
I started with Roundabout Theatre Company as an onsite Engineer with Marcum Technologies acting as their onsite engineer. Day to day duties includes dealing with a Microsoft Active directory environment base across Windows 2008, Windows 2012 based servers. Exchange 2010. Storage for the environment was an EMC VNX5300 utilizing about 12TB of storage. Hosting a VMWare 5.3 3 host environment. This high level overview of their environment supported 250+ users. This unique environment being a very large non-profit theatre and arts company support 8 sights over a Windstream MPLS network. Considering this is not like any other environment I have experienced in the past lead to many different challenges for myself including working in a theatrical and education setting. I hired a staff of 2 other desktop support staff whose skill varied using Microsoft and Apple backgrounds as well as working in a non-profit setting. The most successful project to date is a complete network infrastructure change completed 8/30.With the current network changes to the network infrastructure and MPLS changes including setting up BGP and internet failover. Utilizing Cisco 3850 POE switches and Palo Alto Firewall and Palo Alto Panorama Firewall management. The next phase of the project is to implement the equivalent changes to each of the site.
