Oversee the West area which includes the Cokers ,Sulfur plants, Benzene units and the Foul water strippers with the major projects associated with the BP TFO projects. Support for all aspects of the TFO project initiatives from an asset perspective. Report to the West area Superintendent and Major project manager. Tackle operational issues involved in the preparation and execution of all pre-work, shutdown and post-shutdown activities required to safely meet the Major projects. Provide leadership to Operators, West area group leadership, and other cross-functional leaders to plan and meet company goals and milestones.* Oversee job packages, drawings and communications in collaboration with inspectors and contractors. Develop Inspection Work Orders (IWO) to capture and place in piping packages; isolate and include safety plans for contractors.* Team with the Contractor Project Manager to ensure alignment of planning and execution efforts.* Coordinate shutdown, safe-out, and start up activities with cross-functional area leadership.* Ensure conformance to BP USPL policies and procedures through all phases of construction management (Control of Work, Work Management Process), OSHA and other compliance.

Brought on board to supported and direct all phases of maintenance for 40+ plants located throughout the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Oversaw construction and resolved issues with a new plant construction project. Participated in all phases of managing the plant maintenance along with major installations, supervising both union and non- union personnel from laborers to skilled trades with an emphasis on preventive maintenance and improving procedures to reduce costs and improve production rates. Maintained accountability for planning, scheduling, record keeping, training, safety, procurement of parts, manpower utilization and needs, cost control. Additionally maintained environmental and regulatory compliance and coordination; responding to inquiries and projects received from the corporate office,particularly those dealing with SAP and reviewing blueprints from corporate engineers on plant upgrades.

Served as a trusted liaison and area rep to the refinery’s maintenance arm. Collaborated with operations and maintenance to spearhead work in the field tied to maintenance and equipment repair. Established and tracked maintenance plans and spend. Organized and managed projects and inspection work streams through all phases of planning, launch and execution. Prepared equipment for maintenance repairs as well as work orders including approval and prioritization. Adhered to maintenance work scopes preplan through PM completion and operational audits including HES incident investigations and audits. Procured supplies and chemicals using SAP. Developed project scope for Unit Turnarounds and maintenance outages; prioritized, communicated, assisted with scheduled VOC work orders. Served as the Area Superintendent as needed. * Played a key role in the acquisition from Sunoco working on updates and T&S initiatives. Helped to develop plan for 2014 fall outage.
