As Lead Engineer at PredictionHealth, I help guide and implement our technical infrastructure for AI-assisted doctor visits. Our solution helps doctors by using AI to produce high quality clinical notes, saving them hours each day. Our tech covers a React frontend, Go backend, serverless Lambda functions, and a data science API running on Kubernetes. In addition to working on the different parts of our infrastructure, I spend time collaborating with and mentoring other engineers, as well as building up our CI/CD flow to ensure a rapid feedback loop between user testing and new software delivery. I also focus on inter-team processes and continually optimizing how we are creating and prioritizing development work. I’m lucky to work with a great team of people who make all this enjoyable!

My work as Senior Engineer involves architecting the frontend React app and the Golang backend, as well as implementing scalable engineering practices as the company rapidly grows.

As a senior engineer on UBiqube’s UI team, I helped build the next-gen interface for their automation and orchestration DevOps framework. We used React, Redux, Material UI, React Testing Library and Docker, and I helped set up an automated CI/CD pipeline on Github Actions which began moving the entire company to a fully Dockerized deployment flow. We continually increased test coverage on our codebase from around 40% when I started to 75% by the time I left. Another project was adding BPM functionality to the product, doing a deep integration with bpmn-js, the React app, and REST API, with test coverage via React Testing Library and Cypress. In addition I migrated our design files to Figma and added Dark Mode across the app. Another big focus was mentoring teammates and helping them to grow their skills in line with their personal goals.

I ran a freelance development firm building apps and websites for clients.
