International Export Shipping(Formerly: Emerson Climate Solutions)

In this role, I was supervising manager of the company's shipping department; responsible for shipping high end electrical instruments, measuring devices and their parts to customers around the world. Personally specialized in export compliance and international shipping.** Company formerly known as NDC Technologies before being acquired by Nordson, becoming the Measurement and Control Systems Division.

● Supervised teams of 15-25 associates on the IPC Dock and Pack Tables, including Team Leaders & equipment operators. Coached associates on reaching metric-based goals related to People (Safety), Quality, Velocity and Cost. ● Utilized Continuous Improvement cards, Standard Work Audits and HOP’s Audits to check for process and safety compliance/improvement. ● Coached peers and Team Leaders in SPM usage, specifically node, variant and layout creation.● Recognized by peers and facility Leadership Team for knowledge/expertise with SPM EWM.● Gained valuable expertise in packing a wide variety of Caterpillar parts for a many different applications.● Served as President of the Safety Awareness Team, after which I was named Chairman of the facility Safety ZIP Steering Committee.

Learned basics of shipping and receiving of printed products and supplies. Started experience with packing materials and provided customer service to pickup customers. Also began safe material handling and forklift operation.

Began work career learning retail and providing excellent customer service. Started as a Courtesy Clerk/Bagger, and was ultimately promoted to stocking Drug/GM products.
