Co-host of the popular Spider-Man and comics podcast: the Amazing Spider-Talk. This weekly show features hundreds of creator interviews, reviews, and commentary, delivered to an audience of tens of thousands of listeners.

Writes film criticism for popular publications including The Hollywood Reporter, TV Guide, BBC, Decoding TV, The Filmcast, Decoding TV, The Film Stage, What! Weekly, Severna Park Voice, and Patch. My writing work has involved reporting on events, film festivals, covering and recapping television programs, interviewing filmmakers and actors, attending premieres, and weekly reviews in a variety of print publications.

Lead faculty in the digital photographic arts program at Sierra Canyon School, teaching yearlong classes in Filmmaking (levels 1-4), Photography (levels 1-3), Graphic Novel Design, and 7th Grade Arts Rotation. Designed and established curriculum, maintained computer lab and photography studio, purchased and maintained filmmaking/photography equipment, and mentored the Film Club.Programmed and produced the annual Sierra Canyon Film Festival, originally held at the historic Raleigh Studios in Hollywood, that grew under my tenure to feature two hours of student work each year. During COVID the festival moved locally and drew hundreds of attendees before returning to Hollywood's United Talent Agency in the following years. Student work continued to international student film festivals, including the prestigious All-American High School Film Festival in Times Square where I chaperoned a dozen accepted students at the weeklong festival and events, and celebrated our awards nominations (1 in 2022, 4 in 2023) at the final Tindies ceremony in Brooklyn.Established and curated the annual Sierra Canyon Photography Competition, a weeklong gallery event featuring over one-hundred student photographs in a changing series of categories, as well as several additional rotating galleries maintained throughout the school year.Instructed an annual weeklong experiential learning course, "Cinematic Experiences of Los Angeles", featuring exclusive visits to movie studios' backlots, art house theaters, and meetings with executives at Paramount Pictures, animators at Sony Pictures Animation, and producers at Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment. Utilized personal and community connections, as well as outreach, to create meaningful onsite experiences for students in the class.

Housed, lived with, and parented seven, male international Upper School students from China and Brazil during two school years and the outbreak of COVID-19. Duties involved maintaining the physical and mental well-being of students, mentorship, meal preparation, travel accommodations, conferences with their parents, and extracurricular activities.

Edited the production process of several graphic novel series, assisted in marketing and distribution, produced company podcast, and managed and selected submissions for approval for comic company aimed at increasing representation of women and girls in the medium.

Assisted in the programming, social media promotion, print trafficking, celebrity guest invitations, Q&A preparation and administration for prominent critic and Los Angeles Film Critics Association President Stephen Farber’s “Reel Talk with Stephen Farber” and “Anniversary Classics” screening series at the Landmark and Laemmle theaters.

Managed a Netflix-style digital comics subscription platform. Behind the data management, content acquisition and scheduling, social media management, and programming for the application and website.

Assisted in scheduling, post creation, writing of articles, data entry, reporting, and cleanup for a premiere online magazine serving 6 million monthly visitors.

Worked in the Archive Film Traffic Department under the supervision of the Film Traffic Manager and Collections Curator. Primary duties included shipping, receiving, inspection and inventory of archival materials from the Academy’s collections and outside sources. Assembled and built the growing feature script collection.

Designed and instructed students in Film I, Film II, Digital Photography, 35mm Photography, Illustration and Digital Design, Graphic Novel, Visual Arts Principles, and Passport to Programming classes. Maintained computer lab and photography studio, purchased and maintained filmmaking/photography equipment, and constructed and managed an in-house dark room. Created and managed the Severn Film Club and Movie Nights. Curated the school's art gallery with student work, including the Upper School Art Show.Operated as the assistant to the IT Head to build and maintain new computer labs, as well as existing technological infrastructure. Received the Millard Grant and traveled to Serbia to film a documentary on the youth art culture in the country and presented it to the student body. Co-founder of the Diversity Team where I assisted student conversations, attended the NAIS Student Diversity Leadership Conference, and invited guests to speak to the community on diversity-related topics. Aided as an advisor to filmmaking students in The Van Eney ’09 Fellows Program for several years, in coordination with the head of the Arts Department, including after the end of employment at the school.

Co-hosted a monthly film review program that discussed and critiqued contemporary cinema in the style of At the Movies. Was broadcast in the Greater DC area.

Conceptualized and operated as lead on the first year implementation and creation of film festival with $2.5 million operating budget. Managed and established the Programming Committee, contacted and booked international filmmakers, created and managed the Shorts Crawl (a bar crawl/short film festival), developed special interest series, scheduled and reviewed films, managed print trafficking, and wrote copy.

Created, produced, and directed a Public Service Announcement to bring awareness to local teenage suicide. The film was showcased by several non-profit organizations, Upworthy, Lady Gaga, and at several conventions.

Aided in the development, production, editing, and pitching of new programs for PBS programming, including the Katie Brown Workshop.

Assisted filmmaker Alan Brown on his feature film, Corporal Romeo. Tasks included designing his webpage, assisting in casting, and field research.

Worked behind the counter and on the floor of the largest comic store in the world.

Assisted in the teaching of digital video and filmmaking classes during the Summer semester. Taught basic Final Cut Pro skills to students. Designed lesson plans and implemented them on a daily basis for an 8-week program.

Worked on the set and bullpen for the 38th and 39th seasons of Sesame Street and attending production meetings, song and script rehearsal, and worked with production team and puppeteers. Developed home video verbatim scripts, organized talent, restructured music organization at offices, logged and captured video footage.

Worked in the Studio on the 12th floor of the Tisch building.

Worked in the Post-Production center issuing out equipment and helping people in the labs.
