I founded DJ's Painting in 1986 while in high school. My role in the company has changed over the years as we have grown. I have worked every aspect of this business from Painter to Sales to Accounting to CEO. I enjoy solving those "technical" coating issues that stump most. After the sale of the national DJ's Enterprise inc. in 2010, DJ's Painting Local was established as a regional painting company so that I could slow down and find balance in life... Building this new smaller venture and helping a few friends set up and run their companies has been very enjoyable and rewarding. But with my kids about to head off to college, the local painting business running smoothly with minimal guidance and a balanced life achieved... The deep burning desire to build and grow another larger venture has taken root. Therefore Floor Skinz Coating company is born. Our Floor Coating team has been delighting clients on the east coast since 2017, in 2023 I sold my portion of Floor Skinz. and on to the next chapterGrowing and preparing to hand off the company to the next generation. I continue to learn and grow as a coatings professional by immersing myself and my team in field, lab and classroom experiences as often as possible. Specialties: Technical paint & coating knowledge, Soft Wash, Mold abatement and Project coordination, Branding, Niche marketing, Strategic direction and fiscal analysis.

Floor Skins will be a Regional Floor Coatings Company. Our opening coverage area will be the North Eastern United States. Site Surveys, SOW and proposals will be handled by Me. Onsite Project management and project completion will be handled by Mike Ippolito and our in house floor application teams. We will not be using sub contractors at all. Our Growth will be organic and we will add or acquire business units geographically so as to maintain the highest quality product and client service standards the floor coating industry has ever seen.
