Responsible for 10m+ messages per week- Maintained and answered support requests for an internal RPC/PubSub framework built on Apache Thrift, a critical component to Workiva’s messaging system- Implemented and acted as maintainer for libraries in Go and Java to perform common operations at Workiva, increasing developer efficiency, code quality and reducing delivery time- Developed enterprise encryption key management solution in multi-tenant environment, responsible for managing customer supplied encryption keys and encrypting sensitive data in multiple services.- Implemented SDKs used in 40+ services, enabling Support Engineers to view underlying data models, and execute scripts, becoming an integral tool in Workiva’s support story- Implemented service to expose Workiva’s built in house database system via REST API, and SDKs in Go and Java- Implemented and became go-to resource for tracing libraries written in Java, Go, Dart, and Python with AWS Kinesis, Lambda, and Google Stackdriver to process and display traces. Widespread adoption allowed for discovery of slow processes and reducing time to resolve customer support issues
