It will eventually process up to 10 mllion claims a year. Designing the network infrastructure and security policy to ensure compliance with HIPPA medical data security standards. This includes firewalls and password based paradigms. Recently deploying the same system in a Wide Area Network (Remote Local Area Network ) topology using an ATM lnetwork. Most recently, implemented a CITRIX access methodology to allow for multiple thin clients access to the multitude of applications. Future plans include the implementation of smart cards with limited patient information and utilization of biometric devices for security access.
