Dan currently serves as a Global Catalyst with Biglife/, a Global Facilitator with 24:14, and a board member with GACX. Dan's primary passion and calling is to unite the Body of Christ to fulfill the Great Commission. For almost 40 years Dan Hitzhusen has been sharing the gospel and planting churches in over 60 countries around the world. Dan was very entrepreneurial in his early years starting small businesses and then working for IBM through college. Dan was discipled in Christian ministry at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville through the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. In 1985, God led Dan to forgo his business dreams to pursue God’s Kingdom by joining the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ as a personal assistant with Josh McDowell. Josh and Dan ministered behind the Iron Curtain, which was instrumental in developing Dan’s passion for serving the persecuted church and taking the gospel to people who have never heard the Name of Jesus. In 1993, Dan joined the staff of Global Missions Fellowship and fell in love the Church and helping mobilize churches to start multiplying churches in Africa, Europe, Middle East, Asia, South America and North America. Dan served as president of GMF which later became e3 Partners where Dan served as International Vice President. Under Dan’s leadership, e3 by the Grace of God, was able to see more than 5 million men, women and children profess faith in Christ and be discipled in over 200,000 newly planted churches. Dan also served for 10 years as president and co-managing partner of the San Diego Barnabas Group. www.thebarnabasgroup.org and serves on the board of the Global Association for Church Multiplication www.gacx.io/. In 2018, Dan worked with Finishing the Task for 5 years with Paul Eshleman and Rick Warren to help get the gospel to a little over 1700 Unengaged, Unreached People groups.Dan and his bride, Lorie, reside in Salt Lake City, UT and have 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
