I co-founded G5 in Bend, Oregon in 2005. After spending 10 years in the San Francisco Bay Area during the dot-com years, I started G5 as a purpose-based company in Bend because of its appeal to the entrepreneurial spirit, and the importance of quality of life.Under my leadership, G5 evolved from a simple web marketing application into a complete suite of AI-based marketing technologies. We grew from one self storage client into a saas platform servicing more than 600 customers and over 8,500 properties in self storage, senior living, and multi-family housing. I led the company through two private equity rounds (Volition Capital and Peak Equity) delivering top quartile returns for both, and ultimately the sale of the company to Thoma Bravo and RealPage.As a believer in supporting entrepreneurs, I co-founded the Bend Venture Conference, and was instrumental in starting EDCO's Venture Catalysts program and Founders' Pad. For over a decade, I've served on the advisory board for OSU Cascades. G5 is a strong community supporter in Bend and Central Oregon from participation or sponsorship in the annual Pole, Pedal, Paddle event, The Bend Film Festival, the Boys and Girls Club, Summer Internships, the city's bike share program and over 50 other local charitable organizations. In an effort to maintain balance in life, I encourage and support participation by "G5ers" in a vast array of local community activities.
