As Project Manager in the area of volunteering and work experience I was responsible for the Offer of Fair Access target area relating to students gaining relevant experience and employability skills through volunteering. In the capacity of Project Manager I coordinated the first series of 50 student placements in a new Community Hub initiative working.

As Project Officer I focused on the development of training opportunities for our students, sourcing and brokering volunteering placements and internships as well as overseeing all of our 75 external partner organisations and 400 student volunteers.A significant part of this role included the coordination of the Volunteering Module where I engaged the.

As Widening Participation Officer I worked directly with colleges to support students in applying to university. This included helping students write personal statements, create portfolios and also guide them through the selection process. During my time in this role I set up the Compact Art programme which acted as an agreement between UEL and 8 art.
