Developing and implementing a structured approach to procurement planning to ensure a robust, objective analysis that informs the best methodology to approach the market and achieve optimal procurement outcomes.Co-lead the successful wind down of an SOE ensuring all assets and working capital was successfully distributed amongst supply arrangements to maintain education services.

Reviewing the way the Ministry of Education’s Schooling Group purchases the development, facilitation, distribution, storage, and web and digital support services for its teaching and learning curriculum support materials for English medium. Developing and implementing a long term procurement strategy and plan to service the needs of the Curriculum Teaching and Learning - Implementation and Design business units.

I was contracted to Te Pou to develop and implement a National Training Plan for Mental Health and Addictions Services. Within this role I produced up to date research and information on all education and training within mental health and addiction services inclusive of training provided through District Health Boards and Non- Government Organisations. In order to gather all information, District Health Boards and Non- Government Organisations were surveyed on their current workplace training programmes and future needs. This information formulated a bases to determine current gaps in training and education and provide guidance on how these gaps could potentially be filled through education and training in the future. I also developed a tool in support of reviewing education programmes to determine service user input and therefore national stakeholder support. The National Training Plan was made available in the form of a central repository of information in July 2008. This tool is now known as Skills Matter.
