Performs/reviews analytical testing of Raw Materials, Work-In-Process, Finished Products for product approval and releases.Perform physical and chemical testing in accordance with standard procedures, utilizing wet-chemistry and basic instrumental technique.Maintains accurate, up-to-date and concise laboratory notebooks and records.Understand and precisely follows Standard Operating Procedures, global methods, local methods. Capable of operating and performing basic troubleshooting on analytical instruments (HPLC, Autotitrator, Karl Fischer, UV-Vis and FTIR).Responsible for daily calibrations to ensure all instruments are working properly.Perform stability testing on Finished Product on a weekly basis. Participate on Out of Specification (OOS) investigations to collect the necessary samples and information to complete Laboratory Investigation Reports (LIR).

In charge of Organic Chemistry lab for 3 semesters - Supervise and instruct students on organic chemistry curricula and techniques. Assist students in multi-step syntheses during lab. Grade lab reports and problem sets. In charge of General Chemistry lab for non-major for 1 semester - Supervise and assist students on weekly laboratory experiments. Grade weekly lab summaries and problem sets. In charge of General Chemistry lab for 2 semester - Supervise and assist students on general chemistry laboratory projects. Grade lab reports and problem sets.

Perform sample analysis for commercial use by HPLC, GC, and Karl Fischer.Capable of operating and performing basic troubleshooting on analytical instruments (HPLC and GC).Document methods, specifications, notebooks, reports and validations per company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Perform nightly calibrations to ensure all instruments are running properly.Review documentations for accuracy and completeness.

Independently performed research projects in organic and analytical chemistry.Perform organic reactions under minimum supervision. Perform sample analysis by proton NMR, GC-MS, and HPLCSeparate reaction mixture by gravity column chromatography and extraction method.
