Over the past five years I have held flute teaching positions at numerous high schools and primary schools including Pedare Christian College, Gleeson College, Temple Christian College, Faith Lutheran School, Endeavour College and Stirling East Primary School. I have absolutely loved teaching young and old alike, and have striven to bring a fresh approach to learning and to inspire my students with a love of exploration and discovery. For me, this is the absolute key to success in music: enjoyment, and a belief that mistakes are not failures but a natural part of the learning process. It has been my great joy to see my students grow in confidence and character. My next big adventure is the setting up of my new business "Kindermusik with Dani"​, soon to launch in October at Burnside with an exciting fortnight of demo classes. I'm so looking forward to spending my days with rooms full of little munchkins, and seeing them also grow and learn. My practicum classes left me with some absolute gems: seeing a shy little girl who would hardly let go of her dad's hand in the first class come back the following week excited to be there and singing all the songs! I couldn't believe how quickly she had learned them! And my little helpers, so eager to help pass out the paper plates for me....
