Assisted the senior designer first-hand on high-end residential projects. It primarily involved heavy AutoCAD-based skills to create, modify, and refine construction documents. These included: demolition, new construction, reflected ceiling, power, furniture, and finish plans. Knowledge of accurate drafting methods for elevations and details were also critical. Secondary responsibilities included: researching finishes, fixtures, and furnishings, checking materials as they came in to the office for quality control, reviewing building policies and permit requirements prior construction work beginning, speaking to vendors about custom-designed products, and archival of invoices.
