I completed an 8 month placement leading on Tobacco Control strategy, designing and delivering a health equity audit across the alcohol pathway and leading the public health approach to the cost of living crisis.

I completed a 12 month placement in the Health Equity and Inclusion Health team. During my time here, I led the design and delivery of research into the sexual health needs of LGBTQ+ inclusion health groups and a national needs assessment of children and young people in the secure estate in England.

I have provided project management on a number of areas during my time in the CCG including COPD self-care , diabetes, care homes and the development and implementation of the General Practice Transformation Agreement. As part of these, I have effectively engaged with a variety of stakeholders including CCG staff, our local trusts, member practices, care homes, Healthwatch and the voluntary sector to ensure changes implemented are championed across the system. I have actively engaged with patient & carer representatives to ensure a robust understanding of their experience and have pursued active co-design with patients/carers.

In this role I supported/managed a number of functions including CCG policy oversight and review, support of the Governing Body, risk management and the development of the Business Assurance framework.

I managed a small team in supporting and processing international education applications.
