Just before transforming my career into software development, I yearned for more complex challenges and a calling that made a more direct impact on the world around me. It was at this time that I realized the importance of seeking a fulfilling work environment that encourages growth, learning, and collaboration.Taking a leap in which you don't know what the future holds is scary, but I knew I'd regret it more if I didn't do so. In the search to challenge myself, I took the bold and transformative decision to pivot my career toward tech, inspired by a lifetime of experimenting and creating with it. Software engineering allows me to seek that progress-oriented environment where each day brings a unique problem to solve. With a previous science background in clinical and pharmaceutical laboratories, I’ve developed universal skills in working with data, solving problems, and attending to details. Across every experience, I’ve learned best about how to be curious, ask plenty of questions, constantly improve on my ability, and understand everything on a deeper level. I leverage my experience in STEM to be an analytical, detailed, problem-solving developer with an eye for practical design.Since I've started, I’ve felt renewed each time I see ideas come to life by developing valuable solutions. In less than a year, I've built multiple websites, a finance learning platform, an art management platform, and a mobile app. Whatever the project, I seek to learn and give it my best effort.
