Having had sales and leadership skills in my previous jobs, I took on a role with my business partner Tony to open up a transporting company in Logistic's and Truck Rentals. I further enhanced my leadership, critical thinking, and financial skills as I had to forecast overheads coming from every route of the business. I also employed two full-time workers, Tinatswa and John and learn't payroll skills with the help of my Finance Major. I got to understand churn, expenses other costs first hand. All in all, this was a great experience and without a doubt benefited in many ways.

With leaving Hospitality and Nightlife, I decided to gain some sales experience. Being mentored and coached by my manager at the time Ronnie Ibrahim, I got to witness all routes of dealing with clients and life in of itself. With such a competent person, giving me virtues and understanding of selling, I was able to grasp the idea of selling through hundreds of presentations, demonstrations and prospecting attempts and successes. Furthermore, I had to deeply understand the fundamental idea of "Selling being a transfer of Energy". To elaborate on this point, I had to study the insights of body language, choice of words, body language and behavioural economics. I started off as a trainee and quickly worked my way up to become the junior salesman of the yard. I chose to work at the biggest used Car Dealership in Australia for Sales experience and to become a more competent communicator, helper and human being. Taking my customer service experience to sales was somewhat different, as I learnt that talking too much or too little can cause your client to misjudge your intention, and choosing what to say and when to say it as well as how its said with my body language can also cause objections in the customer sales journey. All In all, It was a tough time working at this dealership as I was studying a Bachelor Of Commerce full time and Cert 3 and 4 In Fitness full time. In the end, I was forever grateful for this opportunity and I was able to build on my weak ties and build my identity capital.

I was fortunate enough to land a position at this gorgeous establishment prior to its open. El patron is a City themed bar located in Gregory Hills, NSW, in the Camden LGA. Having a role at El Patron prior to its open, meant I was able to be involved in the set up, close and production of this venue. From starting as a Bar back to becoming an outstanding cocktail bartender, given the opportunity to start from the bottom of the bar and working my way up to being one of the most valuable persons of the bar was enormously rewarding as I got to see how important it is to keep an environment, clean, tidy and in order of sequence. Working here just pass the covid restrictions brought me so much joy as I got the experience to see people enjoy each others company once again together with no restrictions. Furthermore, I was fortunate enough to see how even an environment of up to 250 people can create such a strong culture. What Intrigued me the most was seeing how patrons all over Sydney were willing to come to El Patron, (a city themed bar), even though it is located more than an hour away from Sydney City CBD. To conclude my experience, I was able to witness how vital it is to have a strong foundation, leadership and a diverse culture at work. I will forever be grateful for Steve, Rami and Alex, my directors at El Patron and their generosity, class, understanding and respect for me and the other members of this venue.

Working at Bavarian Wetherill Park enlightened me about the hospitality industry. This was largely due to the fact that it was my first role at a venue where It had the authority to supply alcohol. Although, I was more attracted to cocktail bars rather than pubs, working at Bavarian exposed me to whole heap of different demographics and interests. As I was managed by a sensational group of leaders, being Lachlan, Katelyn and Julian, I quickly learnt the ins and outs of selling an experience. From presentation to demonstrating samples, my love for people accelerated even further as I built friendships with my coworkers and costumers. All in all, my 8 months spent here at this venue was a very joyful and pleasant experience, and it built me into a diverse human being with a more open mind to peoples interests and desires.
