Designed the inaugural The Revolutionary Book Club advertisment which is now the design standard until 2024. Coordinated with NPS employees nationwide to develop culturally sensitive and relevant designs.

A grant based research internship that works in partnership with the National Parks Services. This project uses historic, visual, creative writing, and ethnographic/oral histories research to document and understand the relationships of historic and contemporary African American communities to the C&O Canal and areas associated with the current C&O Canal National Historic Park. Using research, and interviews we are creating an educational tool that will be used to give voice to the local African American communities along the C&O canal. In addition I designed the visual advertisements, fliers, posters, and presentations as needed.

Foundational design skills and a general understanding of the field of design. Participants are exposed to the following concepts: the profession of design, designing at enterprise scale, Ul and UX design, design research, designing with intent, outcome-based design, design systems, and technologies within the design field.
