Welcome to my LinkedIn! I am a first-generation, queer, Latine graduate from THE Florida State University with a B.S. in International Affairs.I am passionate about the planet, and all that happens within it. I have found my voice in climate justice, and feel empowered to tackle many issues as true justice is intersectional.I currently work at The CLEO Institute as a Youth Organizer for Miami-Dade County as part of their youth empowerment program: genCLEO. I am also the season three host of the House on Fire podcast, powered by The CLEO Institute. In both roles, my focus is on enacting change within my community by advocating for climate policy, while also educating others on these important topics. When I started out, I had no clue how to be active in a movement. My hope is to inspire others like myself to rise up and take action. Youth voices in these spaces are not only important, but they are necessary to a truly equitable and sustainable future for us all.I currently also work as a server and bartender at a Flanigan's Seafood Bar and Grill, a restaurant chain found in South Florida. My experience there, and at my previous restaurant job, have equipped me with the skills necessary to work under pressure and multitask effectively. My communication and presentation skills have also improved as a result.I am also a fledgling copywriter, and have joined Word Tonic to further my knowledge and understanding of the profession while learning from other Gen-Z copywriters and industry professionals while I decide where my niche will lie.I look forward to connecting with you and building upon my network with other changemakers in respective industries, for both the people and the planet.
