One of my life's most exciting detours led me to Germany. What started off as a language exchange after high school turned into a defining decade of my life. During my time there, I worked as an English Instructor and later as an Event Program Manager in Education and the Cultural Arts. My bilingualism and intercultural awareness combined with a passion for WordPress web design then led me to building and optimizing websites for businesses and organizations in Germany, and providing digital marketing services.Since returning home to the U.S., I have been an asset in traditional and emerging tech industries, including working directly for WordPress.com where I championed technical improvements on more than 2,300 websites. Today, I have more than 10 years of experience in UX-forward web design, content marketing strategy, SEO optimization, and copywriting.With a degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Diversity Awareness, I provide design, UX, and content strategy to organizations, as well as the practical steps necessary to materialize ideas. I champion accessible online spaces and attend routine trainings in UX and Digital Accessibility in order to keep my finger on the pulse on where things are - and can be.
