About Danica Waiti
I am indigenous (Maori) to Aotearoa-New Zealand and the mother of two daughters. My experience in research, monitoring and evaluation spans 20 years working in developing countries and indigenous communities. To me, the beauty of evaluation lies in the opportunity to tell the story and I am often humbled by, and grateful for, this experience. I've been lucky enough to contribute to projects in 22 countries across 4 regions - the Pacific (the Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, the Marshall Islands, Micronesia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu), North and East Africa (Egypt, Kenya, Zambia), South-East Asia (Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Timor Leste, Viet Nam) and the Caribbean (Belize, Jamaica, Guyana, St Lucia). This means I'm flexible and highly adaptable, and able to fill roles that require experience in research, monitoring and evaluation, programme management, strategic planning, capacity building, reporting, knowledge management, communications and visibility.
Listed skills include Government, Policy, Policy Analysis, Research, and 15 others.
