In my role as Communities & Outreach (C&O) Coordinator, I support and execute large-scale community-focused arts experiences with detail-oriented, adaptive administration and communications. I have been involved in every step towards the delivery of free programs, including community classes, exclusive school performances, masterclasses, pre- and post-performance artist talkbacks, and more. Bringing my expertise with summer camp environments, I pioneered and supported C&O in launching its highly successful inaugural season of summer camp in 2024. These programs, events, and engagements leverage TO Live's rich history into a future that allows community members to engage with the arts and contribute to the cultural fabric of Toronto, one individual at a time.I also steward and nurture relationships between TO Live and a diverse range of community partners, including Xenia Concerts, VIBE Arts, North York Arts, Paprika Theatre, Dancing with Parkinson's, Dance for PD, MUSE Arts, Nova Dance, and several independent artists. New partnerships between TO Live and other community-serving relationships have also been forged with my assistance, expanding our reach and delivering opportunities to connect to new community members.

As the Program Coordinator, I designed and implemented arts-based learning opportunities for adults, children, teens, and families. I coordinated experiences, including field trips, parties, and 1-on-1 tutoring. My main responsibilities included administrative tasks, such as communications related to courses, maintaining a roster of 14+ artists, tracking enrolment trends, financial management, booking spaces, regular reporting to superiors and board members, and monitoring supply needs. I also directed the marketing of courses and events on various platforms in collaboration with the Engagement Coordinator. Due to NPCC's relationship with Humber's Bachelor of Child and Youth Care program, I mentored multiple placement students as they learned about child-focused programming in NPCC's unique environment. Contributing to arts access for the community, I managed the Scholarship program for newcomer and low-income families in the Summer Camp programs.

In addition, I supported all events and programs, completed several website improvements (including an online store and gallery), and prepared and published materials relevant to the centre.

In this internship, I assisted the Program Coordinator for the Pride Toronto 2020 Festival season. I learned about the operations of a keystone cultural organization through strengthening relationships with LGBTQIA+ individuals and organizations, researching current issues, contributing to important discussions, and tackling administrative tasks on a daily basis. During the onset of the COVID-19 response period, I was also a part of Pride's effort to move its large-scale festival to a digital platform.

A YU Start Leader is responsible for tracking the progress of first years in their enrolment in their classes. I offered support to incoming students, advanced-standing students, and transfer students interested in enrolling in the school year. As a leader, I advised progress and invited students to join Facebook pages relevant to their department and managed by the YU Start Leaders. It is a position dedicated to providing the best advice about university experience, resources, as well as making media to engage and educate students before beginning at York.

Student Ambassadors and Mentors (SAMs) are trained upper-year students dedicated to providing you with assistance and information to support your academic success. I am responsible for giving information about York University and its services, promoting the Faculty of Arts, Performance, and Design (AMPD)'s events, and providing tips for success to first-year students.

DLLOs organize and budget for events in and out of the residence environment for all residents to partake in. The job requires an ability to orchestrate brainstorming among volunteer Residence Council members, and making sure that the council is an environment for members to foster leadership skills. DLLOs also assure a safe and inclusive community environment for all residents and event attendees by having CPR, First Aid, and SafeTalk training. They are trained to find answers to questions and promote healthy lifestyles while living in residence. Dons are trained as peer advisors to help students with issues such as academic concerns, stress management, and roommate conflict. The state of the residence is monitored by the DLLOs in order to maintain a safe, comfortable environment for residents.
